The Muslim Alliance for Sexual and Gender Diversity is seeking a web application developer to join our team!
The Inara helpline uses Twilio on the backend to direct calls from our warmline number 71-QTM-INARA to an online dashboard where our warmline operators can respond. We would love to update the backend of the Inara application so that we can provide our LGBTQ+ Muslim community with a consistent and efficient warmline. We are looking to hire someone who has the experience and skills to update the warmline backend and with whom we want to build a continued relationship for tech support moving forward.
MASGD is a 100% Muslim LGBTQ+ peer support organization with full commitment to bodily autonomy, social and economic justice and the empowerment of LGBTQ+ Muslims inside and outside the US. We offer faith-based and community-based support spaces, individual peer support and nationwide advocacy. The ideal candidate for this position has lived experience in our communities, is passionate about privacy, informed consent and community empowerment, has excellent communication skills and has an interest in getting involved in peer support by and for marginalized communities.
