Overview

The  Human Resources Lead, EMEA, will oversee human resources functions in Poland and support other regions in EMEA and the UK where team members are located. This role requires a strategic leader who can align HR practices with business objectives, manage regional HR operations, and ensure compliance with local labor laws. This role will be responsible for driving initiatives that enhance employee engagement, support organizational growth, and foster a diverse and inclusive workplace culture. This position requires a deep understanding of the regional market, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a global environment.

This role is located in Warsaw, Poland, and will require a presence in the office.

 

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s global objectives and regional business goals.
  • Partner with senior leadership in the EMEA region to provide strategic guidance on HR-related matters.
  • Identify and address regional HR challenges and opportunities to support business growth.
  • Oversee HR operations across multiple countries in the EMEA region and the UK, ensuring consistency in HR practices while accommodating local differences.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, talent development, and offboarding.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations in Poland and other locations in EMEA and the UK where we have team members.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that align with global standards while meeting regional legal requirements.
  • Manage and mitigate HR-related risks, including employee relations issues, disciplinary actions, and grievances.
  • Implement talent management programs, including succession planning, leadership development, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Partner with our Compensation and Benefits Manager to ensure that compensation practices are fair, equitable, and compliant with local laws and regulations.
  • Provide regular reports and analyses on key HR indicators and trends.
  • Use data-driven insights to inform HR strategies and decision-making.

Who you are and what you’ll need for this position:

  • 8-10+ years of progressive HR experience, with a focused experience in HR in Poland.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations across multiple EMEA countries.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across cultures and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages relevant to the EMEA region is highly desirable.
  • Experience with HRIS and other HR technology platforms.
  • Ability to travel globally as needed.
