Splendid Spoon, a Series B stage food tech business, is experiencing spectacular growth as more consumers explore plant-based eating and a desire for their meals to be delivered directly to their doorstep.

We’re looking for a Growth Marketing Associate to join our expanding marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced team and get hands-on experience scaling a business. This role will be instrumental in helping Splendid Spoon achieve our mission of helping more people fall in love with plant-based eating.

This role will bring our brand pillars (health, convenience and taste) to life through our digital channels. You will be responsible for managing our Affiliate and Ambassador program. This role will be the backbone of the performance marketing team, making sure our full-funnel is optimized; from helping send emails, to drafting copy for our ads, to creating coupon codes and launching landing pages.

The Role: 

Manage our Affiliate and Ambassador programs:

  • Identify key affiliate and ambassador targets, outreach including negotiating fees, onboard to our platform and optimize their partnership weekly
  • Lead communication with content-focused affiliate partners and ambassadors to secure brand exposure; potentially across Instagram, Blogs, Publisher sites, Pinterest, etc.
  • Evaluate quarterly paid placement opportunities with key affiliate and media partners
  • Analyze weekly performance to help evaluate affiliate performance and determine opportunities to drive the business
  • Assist in creating and sending affiliate and ambassador newsletters

Manage our digital channels: 

  • Partner with our brand team to update our product description pages and plan pages with relevant information aimed at converting new customers
  • Liaise directly with our brand team to source imagery and copy for ads, landing page and any other paid marketing activities
  • Setup coupons in our backend and on-site, using best practices in terms of copy and UX (user experience)
  • Assist our Email Manager with our email program, including updating sms and email captures when needed and setting up sms and emails

Act as the backbone of the Growth Marketing team:

  • Maintain a promotional calendar across every channel, and develop a system for keeping our coupons organized
  • Develop and maintain key performance metric reports that track the efficacy of implemented strategies, and manage outward communication to team
  • Partner with our creative teams, balancing the need to move quickly with producing impeccable marketing assets
  • Keep our daily, weekly and monthly budgets up to date, with proactive communication around misses to plan

Must Haves: 

  • 1-3 years of experience in a Growth Marketing or Ecommerce role
  • Experience developing systems and processes; organization is your superpower.
  • Ability to organize data in a way that makes it easy for others to understand
  • Experience working in Google Analytics or a similar marketing analytics platform

Nice to haves: 

  • Experience with Affiliate platforms such as Impact Radius or ShareASale
  • Experience with Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads Manager
  • Experience with community management
