The Role

CompanyCam is hiring a part-time Facilities Coordinator. You will be working with a smaller team to help keep our office space looking top-notch. As a Facilities Coordinator, you will learn how to manage the facilities’ daily operations, handle ordering supplies and equipment, and solve problems for our employees to make our work environment successful and fun.

In this role, you’ll learn how an office works and everything it takes for it to function effectively. The ideal person for this role would have attention to detail, organization, and time management skills, and care about the people that work here. In this job you will…

  • Maintain an inventory list and ordering of Office Supplies and Snacks.
  • Free Lunch Fridays – owning the budgeting, ordering and scheduling for lunches and other events.
  • Fun Fridays! – Help with planning and execution of Friday activities for our employees.
  • Employee Parking Passes – Distribution to new employees and audits to help the company save money.
  • Providing help to our employees’ requests and facilities needs.
  • Data Tracking – tracking supplies usage, snack consumption and other statistics to create a usage report for the company.
  • Scheduling and maintaining relationships with outside vendors for routine inspections and emergency repairs.
  • Organize our space, keeping everything in its place and clean.
  • Desk Management – working with software to keep our space running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Setup new employees with our security access.
  • Assisting with ongoing facilities projects.
  • Problem solving and looking for improvements for our space.

You must…

  • Show up every day, taking the courage to do the difficult but necessary stuff.

  • Assist employees with facilities issues as needed.
  • Work with vendors as needed on maintenance and new projects.
  • Help maintain the simplicity of our space by keeping it organized and tidy.
  • Have strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Be able to lift up to 50lbs and push/pull up to 100lbs required.
  • Have daily availability (M-F, hours may vary). Specifically, Friday’s from 11:00 – 1:00 are required to support CompanyCam lunch set-up and teardown.
  • Be available to work 25 hours per week on average.
  • Manage a budget, while staying creative within that budget.
  • Have strong time-management skills and be able to adapt quickly to change.
  • Reside permanently and currently in Lincoln, NE or the surrounding metro area. Sorry, we’re not hiring outside the U.S. at this time even if you’re willing to work during U.S. time zones.

It’d be nice if you…

  • Have worked in customer service before.
  • Are able to create basic spreadsheets to manage simple budgets.
  • Are handy with tools when needed.

Compensation: This is an hourly position at CompanyCam. Our hourly wage starts at $18/hour and is based on experience.
