Having recently expanded into the USA with both our retail and software licensing businesses, this is an exciting opportunity to inform key product development decisions and help us rapidly expand in the US.
What you’ll do
- Evaluate energy markets and ancillary service markets for the US, identifying participating criteria for all relevant asset types.
- Support the business development team on evaluating the value of flexibility.
- Represent Kraken and actively participate in relevant industry forums to accelerate the energy transition.
- Use data analysis, modelling and first hand market research to help inform strategic business decisions.
- Work with the product teams to identify and undertake areas of analysis needed to deliver upcoming items on the roadmap.
What you’ll need
- 2-4 years experience working in a similar role relevant to the US energy markets.
- An ability to respond to complicated briefs for regulators and communicate an appropriate response / strategy.
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
- An ability to pick up work in a fast paced environment with a willingness to learn.
- Demonstrated ability to collect, analyse and interpret complex quantitative data and information.
