Overview

Creator Program Operations Managers are creative leaders who love to make cool things happen. We are looking for doers who are interested in taking a vision and running with it! In this role, you will build and maintain a healthy creator community for multiple games and customers. As a Creator Program Operations Manager, your top priority is building a balance between the needs of the game developers, and the needs of the creators in your programs. You will operate as the bridge between the two, finding ways to inspire content generation at the same time as helping creators get meaningful support and opportunities. You will use a combination of data and experience to build and implement creative program strategies, manage program performance & goal progression, organize community events, manage fun creative activations, and constantly be looking for new ways to showcase creators in your community!

What you’ll do:

  • Establish, grow, and manage vibrant and diverse creator communities by building and maintaining bespoke Discord servers, working with our dev team to utilize Gamesight creator hubs, and creating a safe space for fans and content creators.
  • Communicate with our customers daily, sharing ideas, updates, and other important information proactively.
  • Drive strategic program ideation and initiatives that align with our customers’ long-term vision for their title. Craft and execute a plan to accomplish their goals and identify key opportunities and challenges along the way.
  • Provide creative ideation for campaigns, both paid and earned activations, experiential events, and conference attendance.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the content creator communities, and set the program’s strategy based on your knowledge.
  • Project manage earned influencer marketing campaigns from start to finish, including choosing the right influencers for the product or event and backing your choices up with data. You will also work with the Campaigns team to ideate and execute paid beats.
  • Plan and prepare agendas for customer-facing meetings. Lead weekly or biweekly syncs with our customers and their program’s stakeholders, delivering detailed updates, clear action items, and set realistic expectations and timelines.
  • Project manage beats that require inputs from other teams at Gamesight – ensure everyone knows what they need to deliver and when it’s due.
  • Ensure we are delivering high-quality content and results that meet our customer’s goals and efficiently utilize their budget. Iterate on and improve our current reporting methods (content and delivery), document program results, and share best practices with others.
  • Build and deliver in-depth reporting on program performance, growth, and key outputs, including detailed quarterly business reviews (which may be in-person with our customer’s stakeholders).
  • After 90 days at Gamesight, you may have the opportunity to step into a leadership role and manage a small team. These additional responsibilities would include:
    • Lead and manage a team of 1+ Creator Program Coordinators or Creator Program Managers to executional success. Complete quarterly performance reviews, provide actionable feedback, and develop a team of high-performing ICs.
    • Take responsibility for the performance of your splinter cell of ICs and provide performance insights and metrics to the leadership team. Learn management best practices and work collaboratively with other team leads to ensure all of our splinter cells are building & executing creator programs The Gamesight Way.

Who you’ll work with:

  • You’ll have the direct support of your other Creator Program team members.
  • You’ll work directly with the customer’s team, attending regular sync calls, communicating daily, and staying up to date on everything coming down the pipeline.
  • You’ll work alongside our Influencer Campaign Managers and additional supporting staff to plan and execute paid campaigns.
  • You’ll work closely with our Data Analysts to generate comprehensive talent discoveries and post-campaign reporting for our customers.
  • Expect to sit with our Developers, MarOps team, and Solutions Engineers to help you understand and improve the product. You might work directly with those folks to develop collateral material or create automation.

Requirements:

  • Deep knowledge and love of internet and gaming culture, influencer platforms (Twitch/YouTube/Kick/X/Instagram), creator marketing, and digital trends. 📈
  • Familiarity with and passion for extraction shooters, battle royales, and/or FPS games (think: Escape from Tarkov, PUBG, Destiny 2, Call of Duty, Marvel Rivals, Halo, Valorant, etc.) and the creator community surrounding them. 🎮
  • 5+ years of experience in community management, influencer marketing, or project management roles in the video game industry. 💪
  • Ready to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. 🚤
  • Confident using Discord as a community management tool – you know the ins and outs of leveraging Discord’s tools, bots, etc. to create a vibrant space for people to hang out in. 🤖
  • Willing to set boundaries. It can be easy to overwork when working on campaigns, especially remotely. You need to be willing to set realistic deadlines & expectations with our customers and stop working when the day is done, with very few exceptions. ⛔
  • Exceptional organizational skills to ensure each campaign runs smoothly, on schedule, and hits all the key beats. 🤓
  • You are eager to learn. As a pioneer in a new space, there are still uncharted territories to be explored. You have a hunger for learning and an interest in being the best at what you do. 📚
