How you’ll help

The Vice President of Medicare Partnerships is responsible for managing Jellyvision’s strategic relationships with our Medicare insurance partners. The Vice President is responsible for creating revenue opportunities with insurance carriers and brokers and identifying additional partnerships in the Medicare space, including identifying opportunities within complementary industries, such as financial services. The Vice President will play a vital role in Jellyvision’s expansion into the Medicare market.

You will leverage your Medicare / Healthcare / HR tech expertise to help us define and build the next strategic business for Jellyvision. You will be  relentlessly “external” in your focus –  customer, partner, and market oriented, with a knack for thinking expansively about how to solve hard problems and how Jellyvision can leverage our strengths to beat competition and find win-win angles for Jellyvision to share in the value we create for our customers.  You have large carrier and broker/consultants contacts on speed dial and are regularly checking in to stay connected to their goals, concerns, hopes and dreams.

What you’ll do 

  • Develop and execute on a strategic sales plan to hit Medicare booking goals
  • Monitor and maintain the Medicare pipeline and leads, adjusting as necessary for sustainable growth
  • Identify, contact, and contract enterprise level accounts in the following areas: Medicare Insurance Carrier, Brokerage, Provider, Pharmacy, and Financial partners.Long-term management of existing partner relationships, including conducting in-depth business reviews and identifying opportunities to drive efficiencies and grow the business.
  • Serve as point of contact for daily operational issues and escalations for partners and assure timely resolution of internal and customer inquiries.
  • Develop annual business plans for all partners.
  • Partner closely across our Revenue, Product, and Marketing teams  to identify best practices, product development opportunities, evaluate content management problem areas, provide awareness of upcoming improvements, and yield improvement opportunities.
  • Support of design and implementation of technical solutions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience you’ll need

  • Expertise in Medicare / Healthcare / HR tech  – knows the players, the ecosystem, and how money is made today
  • This is a new group for Jellyvision and we need someone that wants to build a function from the ground up.
  • Excellent market facing presence, comfortable talking with customers, partners, users to both capture input but also effectively communicate a vision.
  • Experience leading customer discovery and validation, communicating vision to customers, and partnering with the product organization to bring the product strategy to life in the market.
  • Must be able to work remotely and independently.
  • 10+ years experience in the Healthcare industry and understanding of Medicare insurance carriers. Health Care Reform knowledge helpful.
  • Must have proven interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively across functional areas.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Must be willing to travel extensively throughout the U.S.
  • Proven ability to interact at VP+ level.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel and PowerPoint, is required.
  • Ability to remain flexible with changing business objectives.

About remote hiring

Jellyvision’s headquarters is in Chicago, however, our philosophy is “Flexible First”. This means that coming into the office is by choice, not required. But this position is also eligible for work by a remote employee out of CA, CO, DC, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, MA, MI, MN, NC, NE, NM, NJ, NY, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA or WI.

The salary range for this position is: $161,020 – $196,802. Final salary is dependent upon your specific skills, years of experience and internal equity. Additionally, this position is eligible for both short-term and long-term incentive programs.
