We’re Looking For A: Senior Software Engineer (Web Development) who will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications and systems, working with databases, implementing server-side logic, and integrating various components of the web application stack. This role will involve working on the full stack of web development, including both front-end and back-end technologies. Will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to deliver scalable and reliable web solutions that meet the business objectives.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure web applications using modern web technologies, frameworks, and tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, both independently and as part of a team.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in web development and incorporate them into the development process.
- Understands the culture of agile digital product delivery
- Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to established development practices.
- Stay updated on WCAG accessibility compliance, privacy laws, and modern SEO best practices, ensuring adherence to these standards and incorporating them into all relevant aspects of the company’s operations.
- Support API development and integrations with external services as needed
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and ensure successful project delivery.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, following best practices and coding standards.
- Perform thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve defects and performance issues.
- Optimize web applications for maximum speed, responsiveness, and scalability.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the team, assisting with technical challenges and promoting professional growth.
- Acts as a senior escalation point for technical projects with both technical and non-technical partners alike
Preferred Qualifications (Note: These are preferred and not required. We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don’t tick ALL of these boxes.):
- Web Development Expertise: A deep understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and various front-end frameworks (such as React, Angular, or Vue.js). They should be proficient in server-side programming languages (such as Node.js, Python, or Ruby) and have experience with web frameworks (like Express, Django, or Ruby on Rails).
- Full-Stack Development: The ability to work on both the front-end and back-end aspects of web development is important. Have experience building and integrating server-side logic, working with databases (SQL or NoSQL), and implementing APIs and services.
- Problem Solving and Troubleshooting: Strong problem-solving skills are essential for a senior software engineer. They should be able to analyze complex technical issues, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions. Troubleshooting skills are important for debugging and resolving issues in web applications.
- Architecture and Design: Have a solid understanding of software architecture and design patterns. Should be able to design scalable and maintainable web applications, considering factors like performance, security, and code modularity. Familiarity with design principles and user experience (UX) considerations is also valuable.
- Attention to Detail: Web development often involves working with intricate code structures, complex algorithms, and user interfaces. Must demonstrate a keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in their work. Should meticulously review and test their code, paying attention to syntax, logic, and potential bugs or errors.
- Collaboration and Communication: Effective communication and collaboration skills are crucial for working with cross-functional teams. Should be able to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Continuous Learning: Web technologies and best practices evolve rapidly. Should have a passion for learning and staying updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and frameworks. Should actively seek out opportunities for professional growth and be open to adopting new technologies when appropriate.
- Leadership and Mentoring: Take on leadership roles within development teams. Should possess strong leadership qualities and be able to mentor and guide more junior developers, providing technical guidance, sharing knowledge, and fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
- Required Education: BS Degree in Computer Science or Related field
- 5+ years of Javascript, Angular, Node, Express, Postgres
- Knowledge of Heroku
- Experience leading or managing teams
- 1-3+ Years Experience of the Salesforce Service Cloud platform
- Proficient in spoken and written English with native-like fluency
- Demonstrates exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely in various contexts

The anticipated salary range for this position is $114,100-$152,200, plus annual & monthly KPI bonus potential.
Salary is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geographical location.
