Overview:

Jama is seeking a smart, dynamic Consultant with a passion for driving results to join our growing Professional Services team. The Consultant is responsible for providing expert guidance to help our new and existing customers achieve sustained value from Jama, while keeping them extremely happy and satisfied through their life cycle.

Primary Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Be a key part of our EMEA team’s success as we continue to expand globally.
  • Become a subject matter expert in Jama’s products and how they are best applied to address our customers’ common and unique business challenges
  • Proactively own and manage multiple customer engagements
  • Provide best practices for requirements management and process optimization recommendations to key industry verticals
  • Facilitate working sessions to align Jama with the client’s product definition, development and testing processes
  • Lead customers through decisions about the way they will configure and use Jama
  • Deliver onsite and remote training to core implementation teams and to end-users
  • Assist customer in planning how Jama will be rolled out to their end users
  • Proactively identify and seek resolution of barriers that could inhibit end user adoption
  • Review and assess opportunities for improving the use of Jama with existing customers
  • Identify, manage and resolve project issues – partnering with other roles in Jama’s Customer Success organization
  • Manage pilot engagements with prospective customers through to successful completion
  • Collaborate with Professional Services team members to improve customer education resources and development/documentation of good practices for using Jama
  • Support Sales, Customer Success, Product and Marketing initiatives across the company

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of external client facing software consulting experience
  • Experience servicing clients within the EMEA region
  • Fluency in English required; Fluency in French or German highly desired
  • Willing to travel around 30% primarily within the EMEA region with occasional broader travel

Strengths You’ll Need

  • Knowledge and direct experience with product planning, requirements management and development methodologies
  • Experience serving companies building integrated systems (e.g. Medical Device, Aerospace, Defense, Consumer Electronics, Semiconductor or Automotive Supply Chain)
  • Experience leading business process definition work sessions
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and customer engagement skills
  • Ability to seek out and build strong relationships with people at various levels
  • Strong facilitation skills and ability to lead discussions and drive decisions
  • Highly motivated and self-directed to manage a large portfolio of customer accounts
