Pearl is a national start-up that certifies high-performing homes: homes with efficient heating and cooling, solar, smart home devices, resilient features and much more. Pearl’s certification drives demand for these improvements by capturing their value for resale and appraisal.

We are looking for a Sales Lead Generator / Appointment Setter to join our dynamic, supportive team to work remotely from anywhere in the US. (We have been fully remote since our founding.)

The goal of the Sales Lead Generator / Appointment Setter is to seek qualifying leads and help generate sales by using a variety of marketing strategies, including social media prospecting and outbound calling.

As the Sales Lead Generator / Appointment Setter, you will:

  • Generate, assess, and prioritize sales leads to maximize revenue through outbound prospecting including social media marketing, emails, and phone calls
  • Field calls from prospective customers, provide information as needed, and convert to appointments
  • Discuss customers’ needs and how Pearl products or services can help them reach their goals
  • Become an expert on essential details of Pearl’s value propositions in order to field basic questions, concerns, and overcome objections to scheduling appointments
  • Share qualifying leads and schedule appointments with sales executives who specialize in closing
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM and tracking techniques to log calls, notes, and maintain an organized system for follow up
  • Ensure each prospective client has a positive experience with Pearl
  • Perform market research
  • Support in-person lead generation at conferences and events

What we’re looking for in a Sales Lead Generator / Appointment Setter:

  • Authorization to legally work in the US (Pearl is unable to sponsor employment visas at this time).
  • Ability to navigate and utilize a CRM for tracking of all calls.
  • Superior verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to use outbound prospecting to secure business.
  • Funnel management experience.
  • Strong customer service and time management skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed to support partnerships, trade shows, and other activities (about 10% or less frequently).
  • Please note that Pearl requires employees to be fully vaccinated (and boosted if the appropriate time period has passed) for business travel and in-person meetings.

Nice to have:

  • Previous startup experience
  • Experience in any of the following fields: home contracting, solar, energy efficiency, building performance, building science, real estate

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Market salary based on experience and local conditions, in the range of $50 to $60k, plus commission share and stock options
  • Medical, vision and dental coverage provided for employees and their families, with optional upgrade coverage, where the employee covers only the difference in cost
