We are currently seeking a Quality Analyst II to join our growing team!   This role can be fulfilled either in our Carlsbad, California office, remote office, or a hybrid of the two.

Role Responsibilities

  • Help plan testing efforts for large or high risk projects by estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating testing activities
  • Execute manual tests for native mobile applications, web applications and apis/services
  • Create and maintain well-structured manual test cases
  • Participate in agile ceremonies
  • Record and track defects in Jira
  • Identify & communicate impediments that can risk test activity and/or success of the project
  • Adhere to the Quality organization best practices

Skills and Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience manually testing web or mobile applications
  • Working knowledge of the Software development Life Cycle and the importance of the Quality role
  • Strong knowledge of software quality methodologies, tools, and processes (black box, white box, system, functional, exploratory and automated testing)
  • Strong analytical skills, strong judgment and ability to understand complex business problems quickly
  • Ability to rapidly learn new technologies based on business needs
