Job Title: Product Analyst – Saas

Location: Denver or remote

Who You Are:

We seek an individual who is an innovative and creative problem solver with strong analytical skills, business acumen, and can provide balance using market trend research and customer needs. You are someone who can effectively execute in a fast-past, dynamic, and demanding environment. The Business Analyst must have proven skills in analysis of market trends, research, insights, and customer needs to support product initiatives. They must also have strong communication and business case development skills. The successful candidate is a team player who thrives in a fast-paced, growing company and energetically embraces the challenges of the B2B SaaS marketplace.

You also:

  • Possess proven experience framing, hypothesizing, researching/testing, gaining approval, and pushing strategic efforts.
  • Have previously worked with product and leadership teams to communicate and optimize our messages for internal and external stake holders.
  • Familiar with analyzing the competitive and ecosystems landscape, including development of frameworks and SWOTs to analyze competitive trends and moves.
  • Have collaborated with product teams and leadership to promote and understand customer demand in vertical and/or horizontal markets.
  • Understand the Software Development Life Cycle of a product – from ideation to delivery – and how products fit in the larger context of a business.
  • Hold expertise in strategic planning in these areas: Product Design, Product Research + User Insights, Product Strategy
  • Possess a proven track-record of organizing, developing, and executing strategy projects that deliver results.
  • Bring a deep understanding of growth & optimization best practices.
  • Are experienced with shifting priorities, working in an ambiguous and rapidly changing environment.

What You Will Do:

As a member of the Product Team, we operate in a fast-paced, innovative environment, you will help us to analyze and build strategy surrounding our modern products targeted at enabling embedded finance in customers across verticals and payment processors.

  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Gather, analyze, refine, validates, documents and maintains complex data for the associated Charter line of business.
  • Create and maintain discrete trending dashboards for consumption by the working team and the executive team.
  • Perform market assessment and competitive analysis.
  • Understand current & future trends in key technology themes and emerging markets related to fintech, embedded finance, and payment facilitation.
  • Assesses the capabilities of the business to achieve changes needed to meet project and client needs to meet and achieve strategic goals.
  • Compile business analysis to complement cutting edge tech research, focusing on deriving implications for Infinicept.
  • Communicate product health, experiment results, opportunities, etc. to product/business teams.
  • Model and forecast business trends based on historical data sets and planned product changes or feature launches.
  • Support product and feature launches with data analysis and presentation that reflects the customer’s experience and usage of the new product/feature.
  • Identifies data gaps, researches methods to fill these gaps and makes recommendations to business line for gap funding.
  • Apply lessons learned to new projects to ensure continuous operational improvement in developing, implementing, and launching new products.
  • Utilize data to identify opportunities for growth, retention, and areas of friction within our products.
  • Develops work plans to identify activities, techniques, dependencies, deliverables, and stakeholders to manage the requirements effort for medium to high complexity projects.
  • Work with platform teams to communicate and optimize our messages for internal and external stake holders.
  • Develop scope and define backlog items (features/user stories) that guide the Agile software development teams.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Core Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in product analyst or business analyst role
  • 2+ years of experience in strategy and/or Product Management at leading or startup tech/media company and/or strategy consulting, highly preferred
  • Quantitative, analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills combined with business acumen
  • Experience problem-solving individually and in a group setting
  • Experience working with Agile development methodology.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional leadership to turn insights into actions
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities effectively
  • Ability to build and foster strong relationships across a diverse team with varying interests, perspectives, and directives.
  • Highly motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and a team player
  • Exceptional MS Excel skills required
  • Undergraduate degree, MBA preferred.

Work Environment:

Work in a typical office environment with other staff speaking on phones or engaging in limited team conversation. The role will involve long periods of stationary movement and frequent use of computers and other hardware. Physical efforts to carry out job duties may include some standing, bending, lifting, limited stretching, and reaching.
