The Role:

As our first data analytics hire, the Data Analyst will be a key member of our team addressing the data needs of our product, sales, customer success, and candidate operations teams.  You will use data to help us grow RippleMatch and make better decisions.  The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of SQL, be skilled at communicating the story behind the data, collaborate effectively across functions, and adeptly balance competing projects and priorities.  Weโ€™re looking for the right mix of analytical thinker, skilled communicator, and collaborative team player.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and maintain dashboards communicating key metrics and analytics on our customers, candidates, and products, as well as overall, big picture company KPIs
  • Develop deep knowledge of the business and use it to proactively pull insights from our data to inform business strategy, identify trends, and surface areas of concern
  • Track and analyze data on new features and new product releases
  • Determine best practices for data analytics and business intelligence across the business ensuring access to and understanding of our data
  • Work with partners across functions to interpret and support their data needs
  • Respond to ad hoc requests from our Sales and Customer Success teams to help close deals and improve the customer experience

Who you are:

  • 3+ years of experience in a data analyst/product analyst/business analyst role
  • Deep knowledge of SQL
  • Enjoy creating dashboards and visualizations of data that are easy to digest and tell the story behind the data
  • Collaborative with strong cross-functional communication skills
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize competing responsibilities
  • Strong work ethic and high productivity

Nice to have:

  • Early stage, fast growth B2B Enterprise SaaS experience
  • Knowledge of business intelligence tools (Periscope/Looker/Tableau)
  • Python

Our physical office is conveniently located near Union Square in New York City and all employees keep Eastern hours regardless of where they are based. All RippleMatch employees are encouraged to work remotely or come into the office as much as they want or not at all.
