Fundrise is looking for an experienced business intelligence analyst to manage our suite of reporting tools.  The analytics function has established a foundational data warehouse and business intelligence environment and is now focused on increasing the fidelity and proactivity of the data function to positively impact our decision making process.  Our analysts work on cross-functional teams organized around specific business results, with serving as a resource across many teams.  Ideal candidates will have a proven track record of organizing data, creating useful visualizations, and scaling end user growth of business intelligence.

Responsibilities

      • Serve as the product owner for business intelligence at Fundrise
      • Collaborate with business analysts to create robust reporting for their teams
      • Improve the quality of business intelligence, measured by clarity, reliability, and impact
      • Develop roadmaps for improving the data presentation layer that is fed into dashboards
      • Create and facilitate training modules for the improved use of data in decision making
      • Evaluate the suite of tools used to surface insights to technical and non-technical teams
      • Administer and onboard new users onto business intelligence and web analytics platforms

Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field
    • 4 years of experience in data analysis
    • Proficiency using SQL to organize data
    • Proficiency visualizing and presenting data

Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience scaling the use of business intelligence software (ex: Tableau)
    • Experience scaling the use of web analytics tools (ex: Mixpanel)
    • Experience with collaborative development tools (ex: Git)
