Account Manager- Super Concierge (f/m/d)


It is an amazing time to be joining xChange as we continue to transform container logistics around the world. We have grown to over 800 paid memberships in over 2500 locations – ramping it up to 5000 customers by 2022.

As a member of the Super Concierge team, your mission is to take existing and new xChange members and make their business on xChange successful by planning their future transactions with them and handling their in-platform activities for those transactions. As a Super Concierge, your responsibility is to provide a premium service that is tailored to the client’s specific needs. Being hands-on and maintaining strong alignment with the Account Managers and the client is the key to success.You will have the chance to play a leading role in bringing in new ideas to improve our service and product.

You’ll be joining a Series A scale-up with ambitious ramp-up plans! Hence, our ideal candidate is someone that thrives in a fast-paced start-up environment, takes full ownership, creates seamless operational and activation services, and scales customer success processes.

Your responsibilities in a nutshell

  • Responsible for current operational processes of our Super Concierge members
  • Responsible for negotiations regarding, buying, selling, and leasing of units on the xChange platform
  • Conducting weekly update calls with the Super Concierge accounts regarding the alignment of the business goals and suggesting the best possible business recommendations
  • The main goal is to retain our clients, making sure they stay happy upon renewal
  • Proactively take over problems and handle all the operational edge cases with confidence by being the direct point of contact both internally and externally for such situations
  • Identify the pain points of the Super Concierge members and think of actionable solutions
  • Offer and suggest alternatives and/or complements to the clients’ current strategy to both foster their performance and the activity on the platform
  • Develop, test, and drive forward new tools/processes that help all Super Concierge customers to grow their business on xChange
  • Collaboration with many internal teams (Trading, Leasing, Container Operations, Account Managers and Finance) to ensure that our customers get an eleven-star experience with us

Job requirements

What we’re looking for

  • Experience in Sales and customer journey alignment with a track record of success
  • Experience in the logistics/maritime would be a plus
  • Any advisory/consultant experience would be a plus
  • Exhibiting high personal drive to accomplish the set objectives
  • Excellent organization skills and strong analytical approach
  • Taking complete ownership of the Super Concierge Accounts and not being afraid to challenge the status quo
  • You are good at building client relationships and don’t crack under pressure
  • Exhibiting hands-on-mentality when faced with a problem by actively looking for ways to solve the problem
  • And most important of all to fit into our culture…Be able to have fun 😊
  • You are a great communicator (our company language is English) and listener; you are passionate about the xChange mission and inspire and motivate the people around you
