Overview of Role

We’re looking for our first Account Executive – Talent to develop a new product line that will support our diverse alumni network of skilled talent. As the first recruiter for this talent initiative, you will support the employment goals of students in our alumni network and operationalize our Employer Partnerships process – working with top employers across the nation to drive their diverse talent recruiting strategy.  You will serve as the primary liaison between alumni and employer partners—and will be responsible for prospecting, growing and developing employer relationships, working closely with them to ensure they achieve their goals. You will also build relationships with HR leaders and executives, while driving customer acquisition, retention, and expansion from prospecting and pitch through onboarding and ongoing success.

As an early member of this key team, you’ll be instrumental in building a world class Talent Management program. You will own and execute on all aspects of the recruitment process including reviewing, evaluating, and updating our talent database. You’ll help build our network of employer partners to ensure they achieve their hiring goals and drive adoption across recruiting teams, while working with them to  ensure a collaboratively creative and strategic approach to early talent hiring.

The ideal candidate has a proven record building and managing employer recruitment relationships at scale. You should be excited about wearing many hats and be comfortable taking a hands-on approach.


As part of the Climb Credit team, you will:

Perform employer outreach, with an ability to target small and mid-sized businesses up through fortune 500 companies who have talent acquisition needs

Test value-propositions for various product features, and revert market feedback to the business teams.

Track employer feedback and pain points, and share insights with product development teams.

Own the full-cycle recruitment process for assigned roles

Run dozens of searches at a time – partnering with clients to understand the ideal candidate profile, sourcing and screening candidates

Source and Manage multiple employer relationships

Screen candidates resumes and job applications

Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule

Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes

Assign a match score between candidates and employers leveraging many different inputs.

Your Background and Skills

4+ years of experience as a recruiter or talent acquisition professional with a proven track record of meeting hiring targets, and promoting and selling recruitment services directly to hiring companies

Enthusiasm about building a new and innovative solution while iterating and experimenting on the best approach.

Ability to work in a very fast-paced and fluid small-team environment at a growing company

Professional, detail-oriented, and energetic personality

Ability to succeed in an entrepreneurial culture

Ability to be highly effective in a remote work environment
